Computer Controlled Fountain Draws Pictures with Water

We've all seen fountains that create amazing patterns and shapes, but this is the first one I've seen that can send messages and draw pictures using only water.



This amazing Japanese mall fountain uses a long row of individual water streams that can be turned on and off with extreme precision. This allows it to show individual letters or even pictures that fall with gravity into the collecting pool. The part where it shows words as empty spaces in a sheet of water is incredible.
